General Information
The battery symposium in Japan, held every year under the auspices of the committee of battery technology-the Electrochemical Society of Japan, to promote international collaboration and cooperation and provide a forum for scientists and engineers to discuss fundamentals, innovations and applications in the field of batteries. The Battery symposium in Japan also creates an opportunity to exchange new ideas and latest research results.

*For members of organizations, sponsors and co-sponsors, registration fee is 10,000 JPY (until September 9, 2011) or 12,000 JPY (after September 9, 2011), and abstract volume only is 5,000 JPY. All participants, including authors of the symposium, are required to register via the website and pay the appropriate registration fees by credit card or bank transfer.

15min. Lecture + 4min. Discussion (normal presentation)
Invited talks are planed to be 30 mins. in total.
LCD projectors will be available for all your presentations (Bring your own PC)


Short abstract submission
The submitted short abstract will be reviewed by symposia organizers and the authors of accepted abstracts will be notified. The author is required to provide the following information for the short abstract:
- Title of paper
- Presenting author data: postal address, phone, fax and e-mail
- Corresponding author data: postal address, phone, fax and e-mail (if different from above)
- Symposium name you submit your paper to
- Short abstract of the paper (about 500 words)

The deadline for "Short Abstract Submission" for the International Session is June 17th, 2011.
The submitted papers will be reviewed by symposia organizers and the authors of accepted abstracts will be notified.


Extended abstract submission
Your manuscript for abstract volume should be sent to the symposium office electronically (denchi52@jmcjp.com) by a PDF or MS-Word file. The deadline for "Abstract Submission" is August 26th, 2011. If a manuscript is not received by the deadline, the presentation will be cancelled. For your convenience, we strongly recommend you to use a properly formatted MS-Word template that you can download.
